6/27/2019 · In Infinity War, Thor wanted to watch Thanos suffer before he died. However, this gave Thanos enough time to say “You should have gone for the head” and snap his fingers which leads to the death of half the universe. Thor saying “I aimed for the head” is an obvious nod to this, but it also shows his depression and trauma from failing.
